Keyboard
The PX-S6000 uses the Smart Hybrid Hammer Action keyboard that allows for highly expressive playing. The white keys are made of a hybrid material of spruce and resin. There is a natural relief of ivory in the key surface. The black keys have a black finish that feels like ebony. Finally, all 88 keys of the keyboard are individually weighted. All this ensures that the playing feel of a real acoustic grand piano is recreated in a very realistic and authentic way.
Speaker system
The PX-S6000 is equipped with a Spatial Sound System technology that uses 4 individually controlled speakers, in a sturdy enclosure made of wood and resin composite material. Using the Piano Position function, you can adjust the directivity of the loudspeakers and EQ settings according to where you place the piano in the home. Thanks to the advanced Multi-Dimensional Morphing Air sound source with expanded memory, piano sounds are enriched with additional detail, depth and resonance.
Samples
The PX-S6000 features piano sounds from Casio's renowned Grand Hybrid series, including Hamburg and New York concert grand pianos. What's more, you can fully customize these to suit your personal taste. This instrument also includes some great Hit Piano samples that resemble the piano sounds you hear in famous songs from decades past, such as "Imagine" by John Lennon, "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen, and hits by Billy Joel, Whitney Houston and more! In total, the PX-S6000 features no less than 350 built-in sounds, including acoustic and electric pianos, organs, string instruments, and more.
Bluetooth and Casio Music Space App
The PX-S6000 comes with Casio's WU-BT10 Bluetooth adapter, giving the piano both Bluetooth Audio and MIDI capabilities. Bluetooth lets you stream audio from your mobile device directly to the piano's surround sound system. You can also connect to numerous creative music apps . In addition, you can use the Bluetooth feature to communicate with the Casio Music Space App, which lets you control the piano through your smart device's touchscreen. The app also has numerous educational and interactive features for (beginning pianists) such as the Piano Roll function, Score Viewer and Live Concert Simulator.
